Berg also handled writing chores for other spooky children's records, such as Scary Spooky Stories and The Headless Horseman of Sleepy Hollow.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe album's first side is set at a super-scary scientific convention where they play recordings of the Frankenstein monster. Side two focuses on everyone's favorite vampire, Dracula, in a story where someone stumbles upon the location of his crypt. The voice work for the entire album is done by Gabriel Dell, who had formerly starred in movies with the Dead End Kids, the East Side Kids, and the Bowery Boys.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe vinyl version of the album, originally released on the children's label Wonderland\/Golden Records, has long been out of print, and is a highly sought after collectable.
