Nothing new was appealing, and everything seemed a worse version of something that had come before. Moreover, even\nthe old classics weren't hitting the spot as much for me anymore-I clearly needed to take a step back, and I also knew that the next\nAll Hell record needed to be free from past constraints and expectations.\nFor a good while, I was listening mainly classic rock, 80s pop, new wave, post punk, and plenty of soundtracks. I felt I had cleansed\nmy musical palate of its metal-induced malaise. Naturally, when it came time to write, I penned what is without question the ''most\nmetal'' All Hell album to date.
