The ethereal ballad about searching for one's place in the world finds the couple reflecting on their life as touring musicians.\n\nNext up is 'Only New York' (8\/8), a powerful track that pays homage to a city they call part of their heartbeat \u0026amp; one of their life's main characters. It showcases the stellar studio musicians they worked with, inc. synths mastermind Patrick Warren (Fiona Apple, Aimee Mann), keys by Ray Jacildo (The Black Keys). Written with GRAMMY nominated producer Dex Green (Shemekia Copeland), Jarrad Kritzstein (Goo Goo Dolls) \u0026amp; Kate York (Jillian Jaqueline).\n\nThe album was named after the George Washington Bridge that frequently took the duo from the Garden State to New York City during their childhood and formative teen years, The Bridge is inspired by their everyday lives.\n\n\"We were always trying to write these voyeuristic stories about people we met on the road, places we went, and different cultures,\" Alyssa says. \"This time, we tried something new and had an amazing experience with these songwriters, digging into who we were as children, who we've become, what our real life is about. It was scary and challenging.\"\n\nThe Grahams wrote much of The Bridge with GRAMMY-nominated producer Dex Green, singer-songwriter Kate York, and GRAMMY-nominated songwriter Aaron Lee Tasjan. The pair credits Kate for pulling \"the real stuff\" out. \"This record is hyper personal, and we went places with the lyrics that we would never go ourselves,\" Doug says.\n\nThe Grahams perfectly blend their inspiration from classic pop songwriters (Carole King, The Carpenters) with contemporary pop (Laufey), while never losing their songwriting roots (Waxahatchee).\n\nTracklist\nWorst Parts Of Me\nThe One Who Remembers\nThe Best I Ever Had\nDon't Give Us Away\nMaybe This Song\nFound It In Us\nLittle Fires\nLet's Disappear\nGeorgette\nOnly New York","brand":"The Grahams","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":62526865146186,"sku":"199284589223","price":7.2,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":true}],"url":"https:\/\/goldenspiraluk.com\/products\/the-bridge-lp-pink-vinyl","provider":"Golden Spiral Vinyl","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
